I love my cat dearly, truly I do. She was abandoned as a wee kitten and I brought her into my home, much to the dismay of my older cat. The dog took to her, though, and the two became fast friends. Eventually she and the older cat found a way to peacefully coexist. Alas, in the past two years, I have lost both the dog and the older cat, as they were a lot older. And poor Fiona is left all by herself. With me.
