Slow Cooker Green Beans

Green beans are one of those healthy, versatile vegetables that can be made in a bunch of ways to complement your holiday meals. If you’re tired of making green bean casserole, try these special Green Beans that you can make right in your slow cooker. You’ll also save some precious oven space!

Ingredients for Slow Cooker Green Beans

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, cut into pieces (or drain 2 cans of cut green beans)
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • ½ c bacon, chopped
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to make Slow Cooker Green Beans

  1. Add all ingredients to the slow cooker and mix well.
  2. If using fresh green beans, cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3. If using canned green beans, cook for on low for 2 hours or on high for 1 hour.

How easy is that, right? And they are SO GOOD! I mean, how can you go wrong with bacon?
