December Food Holiday Observances

December always elicits memories of family holiday parties. For many years, my parents used to cram a ton of people into the apartment at the end of our store, for an annual festive get-together with tons of food. My sister and I would help Mom prepare for days ahead of time. And then there were the Christmas day meals, both at our house and at my grandmother’s house. It’s just a great time of year to eat.
