I’m dreaming of a White Christmas

I’m dreaming of a White Christmas.

It doesn’t feel like Christmas until you hear this song, right? Bing Crosby’s deep crooning voice was a holiday staple when I was growing up. Mom used to play it on her records and later CDs. We had the sheet music to play on the organ and piano. It always elicits thoughts of peace and serenity with the beautifully falling snow, keeping me warm and fuzzy.

You can get a copy of the 60th anniversary of the movie on Amazon here or the music here. Both are my Amazon affiliate links. Should you make a purchase through them, I may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. I am only recommending these products because I like them.

Live simply and be grateful

Live simply and be grateful.

It’s a lesson that we must simply all learn and yet find it difficult to do at times. I strive to make my life simpler by avoiding things that cause me stress, learning how to say now, and trying to remember to take care of myself. I keep trying to find that balance between work and play without overdoing either side. And I try to remember to find at least one thing every day for which I am grateful. There’s something good in each day if you look for it.

What are you doing to make your life more simple? How do you express your gratitude?
